Police in Maryland's Montgomery County have identified the suspect in a sexual assault Tuesday on the campus of Montgomery College.

Nathaniel Hart, 34, was arrested last night at a hotel in Silver Spring. Police say he's been charged with two counts of first-degree rape, first-degree sexual offense, and attempting to escape after arrest.

Montgomery College's Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus was locked down for about 90 minutes Tuesday afternoon, after a 19-year-old female student was assaulted in the Performing Arts Center. Police say the victim had stepped out of her class and was assaulted in a bathroom.

Hart is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center. A bond hearing is set for this afternoon.
