The Frederick County Health Department says it will be offering free flu vaccines for children. Health officials will give out the free vaccines on October 5, October 22, and then again on November 16. The three clinics will be held at the Health Department in Frederick.
Vaccines will be offered to children 6 months to 17 years old, and will be available both as a flu shot and as a nasal spray.
The free vaccines are being made possible through a grant from the Maryland Department of Health on Mental Hygiene.
