Programming Alert: Special Coverage Of Fiscal Cliff Talks

WAMU 88.5 will air special coverage at 3 p.m. of the fiscal cliff talks between President Barack Obama and Congressional leaders. The second hour of Talk of the Nation Science Friday will air on WAMU 88.5's HD-3 channel, which streams at WAMU.org. 

The special coverage will be hosted by Brian Naylor, with contributions from NPR Senior Washington Editor Ron Elving and Senior Business Editor Uri Berliner. The president, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) are scheduled to meet at 3 p.m.

WAMU 88.5 will broadcast All Things Considered as usual at 4 p.m.
