

"The Diet-Climate Connection," examines how the foods we eat affect the planet we inhabit. In a period of extreme weather associated with climate change, our food choices can make a difference. We'll explore a new movement on hundreds of college campuses for more "sustainable dining" and healthier food choices. We'll also look at how public school cafeterias are changing under new USDA rules.
The Diet-Climate Connection project is funded by the Henry P. Kendall Foundation, the Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, the Lintilhac Foundation and a special grant from the Henry Luce Foundation. It is presented by Humankind public radio in partnership with Connie Goldman Productions.
